Chen Shapira

Chen is an experienced Chief Executive Officer and an Israeli Board-certified cardiologist, with a demonstrated history of working in both the hospital and the community sector. Skilled in various aspects of Healthcare Consulting, Emergency preparedness, Electronic Medical Records, Clinical Research, Medical Education, and Medical Devices. Chen is skilled in various aspects of Healthcare Consulting, from hospitals to the community, including launching and leading processes to establish continuity of care, knowledge of healthcare issues and trends, healthcare operations, processes, and organizational models. Before her current position as a co-founder and the CMO of Quai.MD, Chen was the CMO of Dosentrx, and now she is the chair of the advisory board. Chen served as the CEO of The Clalit Haifa and west Galilee district, including the Lady Davis Carmel Medical Center. Her prior positions were the CEO of the Lady Davis Carmel hospital [500 bed leading hospital at the North of Israel], and earlier she was the Medical Director-General of Clalit Health Services of the Haifa and Western Galilee district. Chen was the Associate Director of the Coronary Care Unit at Carmel Hospital and also a family physician in a Kibbutz for 17 years. Chen was a clinical professor at the Faculty of Medicine, The Technion (the Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa), and also was a mentor at the healthcare leadership program (INBAR). She chaired the National Israeli Hospital Committee for Preparedness for Radiological Events for more than 10 years and chaired the Organization Ethics committee of the Clalit health services, the largest provider of public and semi-private health services in Israel. Chen was an active participant in a few of the Clalit strategic plans, as well as on the boards of the Israeli Hospital Directors Society and the Auditing Committee of the Israel Medical Association.
