Even before I knew what I'd end up doing, I knew it had to be meaningful. This has led me to a string of different industries, different roles, different geographies and one continuous (and never boring) learning curve. This very need to remain always curious, always learning is what made me start Emerj: The employee's single source of knowledge, pulling from the mindshare of the organization, and democratizing professional development for YOU, while empowering your company to scale knowledge, culture and resources across departments, locations and silos. Now, I leverage what I’ve learned as a startup founder and support startups with content, marketing and go-to market strategy as the CEO of Rooms and Words, a fully remote global agency. Prior to Emerj and after I've started my first business at age 21, I was helping brands to scale globally by taking ownership of their stories - no matter how small and remote they are. 2010 was an exciting time to be there: With the rise of blogs, e-magazines and the takeoff of social media for businesses - it was an immense privilege to help small (and tiny) brands ride that wave and to collaborate with partners like HOUZZ, Etsy, Ikea, Rue Magazine and more.
