Alon Geri is Co-Founder, CTO, and Board member at Surgical Theater LLC, as well as the inventor and architect of the Surgical Theater line of products, overseeing all product engineering at the company. Surgical Theater's Surgical Navigation Advanced Platform (SNAP) technology has been received by leading surgeons around the world as game-changing technology that is not only revolutionizing the way surgical procedures are performed, but also optimizing patient outcomes. SNAP combines medical imaging with the latest 3D virtual reality technology, providing surgeons with an extraordinarily advanced imaging tool that is revolutionizing the way delicate, risky, and highly complex cranial surgical procedures are performed. SNAP enables surgeons to rehearse patient specific cranial procedures prior to the actual surgeries in order to plan the safest, most minimally invasive surgical approaches, all in 3D. The detailed imaging made possible by the SNAP software enables much more precise surgical procedures that protect the brain and optimize patient outcomes. Throughout his career, Alon has been recognized as an unconventional thinker and innovator who creates revolutionary ideas to solve complex problems. He looks at issues through the customer’s eyes and translates their needs into robust software solutions that exceed the expectations of all stakeholders. During his 25 years as an R&D officer in the Israeli Air Force, Alon honed leading-edge technology capabilities, and led the development of flight simulators for F-16 pilots that enabled pilots to see the exact terrain they would encounter in flight.
