Amazon is accelerating its ultra-fast delivery ambitions with Amazon Now, a service promising groceries and everyday essentials in 30 minutes or less. Initially available in select cities like Atlanta and Seattle, the company plans to reach tens of millions of customers nationwide by year's end, according to Amazon News.
This initiative focuses on immediacy, targeting items customers need urgently, from fresh produce like bananas and avocados to electronics and household staples. Udit Madan, senior vice president of Amazon Worldwide Operations, stated the service is designed for moments when customers require or desire the convenience of near-instant delivery.
