Volta has emerged from stealth, securing undisclosed seed and Series A funding that values the company at $2.4 billion. This funding fuels Volta's mission to build and operate AI factories, evidenced by a $10 billion deal with Anthropic for a Norwegian data center and a development pipeline exceeding 1 gigawatt of power capacity. Key investors in the Series A round include Azora, Andreessen Horowitz, Altimeter, and Nvidia, who will support Volta's goal of mobilizing infrastructure capital for AI compute.
