Vertical Compute is an imec spin-off developing a novel vertically integrated memory technology. Their chiplet-based solutions stack memory directly on compute logic within a single wafer, significantly reducing data travel distance, latency, and energy consumption. This approach aims to overcome the memory bottleneck in AI and high-performance computing, enabling next-generation applications with enhanced efficiency and privacy.
