Salt & Fiber pre-Seed — Salt & Fiber

Malmö-based ClimateTech startup Salt & Fiber has secured €300,000 in pre-Seed funding to transform beach-cast seagrass into sustainable textile yarns. This funding marks their first external investment and will support ongoing pilot production, with commercialization targeted between 2027 and 2028. The company has already secured a supply agreement with a Swedish municipality and is participating in the Älmhult x IKEA incubator.
