Personalized AI startup River AI has secured $1.1 billion in combined seed and Series A funding, led by General Catalyst and AMP PBC, with participation from Nvidia and AMD Ventures. This capital infusion will fuel the expansion of their River API, a cloud service that enables enterprises to customize open-source large language models in as little as 15-20 minutes using LoRA technology. The company aims to leverage this funding to enhance its offerings for tailoring LLMs with up to 1 trillion parameters.
