PlaqueTec has secured $5 million in an oversubscribed follow-on funding round, exclusively from its existing investor base. This capital injection will fuel the expansion of its proprietary cardiovascular data lake, BioCarta, which houses unique intracoronary proteomic and clinical data. The company aims to leverage this investment to further develop its intracoronary liquid biopsy technology for identifying CVD drivers.
