Phinity Labs is building foundational training infrastructure to teach large language models (LLMs) how to design, verify, and tape out chips, addressing the data barrier in hardware design. Their platform offers an end-to-end solution for data preparation, finetuning, and evaluation, leveraging synthetic data to improve model performance and address specific performance gaps. The company aims to enable AI agents to design, verify, and tape out custom chips end-to-end, with a goal of reducing chip design time from years to weeks by 2028.
