Olix Computing has secured a $312 million Series B funding round at a $3.3 billion valuation, more than tripling its previous valuation from February of this year. This funding, led by Fundomo with participation from Arm and Hudson River Trading, will be used to bring its novel optical digital processors for AI inference to market next year. The company plans to deliver its specialized AI chips as part of a complete server rack solution, aiming to challenge Nvidia's dominance in AI hardware.
