Natron is a free and open-source French video compositing software designed for creating visual effects, intros, graphics, and seamlessly linking visual ideas. It serves as an alternative to proprietary software like Nuke, aiming to make special effects creation accessible to low-budget productions, students, and artistic profiles. Natron utilizes a node-based workflow, inspired by industry leaders, and has been developed with support from Inria and its growing global community.
