Danish biofuel startup Kvasir Technologies secured €10 million in its Series A funding round, led by European Energy, with participation from EIFO, Mærsk Growth, and Footprint Fund. This capital will fuel the scale-up and commercialization of their patented lignin-to-biofuel technology, including expanding their Fredericia test facility and initiating development of a commercial-scale plant in Aabenraa. The funding also supports a new venture, KVEEN Biofuels, in partnership with European Energy, to develop maritime biofuels.
