Detecht is a Sweden-based mobility application designed for motorcycle riders. It combines advanced crash detection technology, utilizing a smartphone's built-in sensors to identify accidents like falls or collisions, with GPS-based route planning. Unlike conventional navigation tools, Detecht allows users to prioritize scenic and curvy routes, enhancing the riding experience. It also functions as a social network where riders can share routes, statistics, and experiences. The company's core crash detection technology is rooted in research from Chalmers University of Technology, and its founding team originated from the Chalmers School of Entrepreneurship.
