The company also announced a $200 million credit facility, led by Ascribe, with participation from JP Morgan, Press, and Hercules. Taylor highlighted the importance of this facility for the company's long-term financial strategy, aiming to reduce reliance on equity financing. This move signifies Valar Atomics' intent to "demonstrate to the market that this is a business that can take large amounts of credit, deploy it very well, get the yield on that," and finance its capital expenditures through debt and customer-backed arrangements.

He pointed to China's construction of 14 nuclear reactors compared to the US "starting to break ground on our next one." Taylor stressed that to "win on AI," the US must accelerate its power generation efforts, especially in nuclear energy, which he believes is "uniquely well suited to win. It's clean, it scales very well, you can build lots of it in one place next to a large data center."
