London-based Signal AI secured $165 million in new growth-equity funding. Battery Ventures led the investment round, acquiring a majority stake in the company. The firm aims to redefine risk and reputation intelligence for enterprises.

Signal AI's platform uses machine learning and artificial intelligence to proactively detect risk and reputation signals. It ingests data from 226 markets in 75 languages, including news, podcasts, and social media. This comprehensive approach helps organizations understand complex relationships and stay ahead of change.

The company differentiates its Signal AI risk intelligence with access to premium compliant data and precise AI models. Its platform enables decision-makers to identify emerging risks and benchmark against peers. Customers include Diageo plc, NetApp Inc., and Uber Technologies.

Signal AI plans to grow its risk intelligence product development and expand its market reach across the United States, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

The company previously acquired Kelp Inc. in 2022 and Social 360 in 2024.

Its latest product, Ask AIQ, allows business leaders to query complex business questions using natural language. This tool leverages generative AI to surface patterns and trends from large data volumes. Ask AIQ provides detailed answers and visualizations for rapid response to threats.
