Q.ANT has raised new funding, bringing its total to $80 million. The additional investment came from Duquesne Family Office. It joins existing investors including Cherry Ventures, UVC Partners, and TRUMPF. AI data centers consume vast amounts of energy.

The company develops photonic processors for artificial intelligence. This growing power demand limits the scalability of current technology. Q.ANT's processors compute using light instead of electricity. This approach delivers high performance at a fraction of the energy cost. It makes AI computing more efficient and scalable. The company offers a plug-in co-processor for existing data centers. It is called the Q.ANT Native Processing Server. Internal benchmarks show up to 30 times higher energy efficiency. The system also demonstrates 50 times the performance of traditional chips.

Q.ANT aims to make photonic processing a core AI technology by 2030. The new capital will help accelerate commercialization and support expansion into the US market.
