Mojo Vision secured $75 million in a Series B Prime funding round led by Vanedge Capital. This funding supports the commercialization of its high-performance micro-LED platform.
Specifically, the company plans to expand AI applications for its advanced display technology. Moreover, existing shareholders, including Edge Venture Capital and New Enterprise Associates (NEA), participated. Additionally, new investors like imec.xpand and Keymaker also joined the round.
Advancing Micro-LED Technology for AI
Mojo Vision's engineers developed a flexible wafers-in, wafers-out micro-LED platform over nine years. This system integrates 300mm silicon architecture, GaN-on-Silicon emitters, and quantum dots. Furthermore, it resolves conventional trade-offs in size, brightness, and power. For instance, competitors like Samsung Display and LG Display also innovate in display technology.
Consequently, the micro-LED platform enables breakthrough products such as AI glasses and next-generation optical interconnects. This micro-LED technology aims to transform AI infrastructure performance. Mojo Vision's approach offers scalable semiconductor solutions for various market segments. Even Apple explores micro-LEDs for future devices.
