HeyGen

I purchased the Creator plan with Unlimited Avatar III, and Heygen is charging me for credits to use it. I just paid $29 for something that was supposed to be unlimited, and now they're charging me more to use something that should be inclu…more

I’m working on creating a hyper-realistic talking head avatar for bite-sized corporate learning modules (I'm hoping to scale to at least 50, 100 videos), I've yet to render a single usable video. Based on how HeyGen has marketed their platf…more

does it actually make creating content faster or better? does it still look like fake AI once learners see it? my e-learning company is thinking about getting heygen for our content team and id love to hear from people who have experience w…more

I spent the last month testing HeyGen, Synthesia, and Veo 3 to see if any of them could realistically replace on-camera video for marketing and ads. Short answer: none of them fully lived up to the hype for real-world use.

I just lived through a creator's worst fucking nightmare. I spent several full days meticulously polishing a complete 25-minute video in their editor. My video is gone. It's not hiding in some folder. It's not a upload delay. It has utterly…more

Unlimited Plan Removed – Subscription Cancelled

I used to love this app and happily paid for the subscription because it allowed me to create as many videos as I needed. Unfortunately, the new credit system has completely ruined the value of the subscription. What was once an affordable…more

Skeptic at first

So full disclosure, I'm a content creator and my topics are weird, creepy, paranormal, true crime, etc. I didn't think this would work for me considering everything looked very business or educational. But it worked! There was a little bit…more

30 Dollars for a Paperweight—Zero Flexibility and Predatory Limits

I am officially done with HeyGen. I signed up for the $30/month Creator plan to move forward with a professional film pitch, but the experience has been a total disaster. First, the value is non-existent. I managed to get fewer than 20 shor…more

So easy, an adult can do it!

I constantly have to ask my teenage son to help me with most things technology related. Even when I’m halfway through “figuring something out” I usually have to call him in to fix or change whatever I’m missing but this program is so easy I…more

Excellent AI Technology, but Extremely Disappointing Customer Service

I am changing my original review to one star. The quality of HeyGen’s AI, avatars, and graphics is excellent. Unfortunately, the company’s customer service has been unacceptable. I purchased the $100 Starter plan with the understanding that…more

Not upfront, sneaky interface

I do not expect anything for free, but I do expect to receive the services I pay for without having to jump through hoops. Like most AI, the visuals do not consistently come out as you prompt- it's very much a numbers game, you "roll the di…more

AI avatar is cool BUT so many faults!

If I were just basing this on the video creation tools themselves then I would easily give this five stars. However, after paying $29 a month and getting 1200 credits, I attempted to make a video that cost 60 credits, ran into an error and…more

Love HeyGen

I’ve been in business for decades and have used just about every video and AI platform out there — and HeyGen is in a league of its own. The ease of use is what truly sets it apart. The interface is clean, intuitive, and shockingly simple,…more

Easy to learn & user friendly

HeyGen is surprisingly user-friendly and easy to jump into, even if you’re new to avatar creation. The interface is clean, intuitive, and doesn’t feel overwhelming — which I really appreciated. Creating and customizing an avatar was straigh…more

Paid $288 very disappointed

I paid $288 and I’m very disappointed because every time I try to do a video I can’t go longer than 10 seconds every time. I change my avatar and I’d create a new video it says under review for days this is not right it feels like bait and…more
