Serval raises $47M to advance AI IT automation

Serval raised $47 million to expand its AI-native platform for IT operations.

The company is building an intelligent service management system. It replaces outdated ticketing and manual IT tasks with AI agents. Serval's unified platform combines help desk support, access management, and workflow automation. Its system allows IT teams to create automations using plain language. This feature, called "vibe coding," generates production-ready workflows from simple descriptions. This turns manual processes into repeatable, automated tasks. Common use cases include onboarding new employees, provisioning application access, and resetting passwords.

The platform also handles creating or deleting user groups.

Customers like Perplexity AI and Verkada already use Serval to automate more than 50% of all IT tickets. This includes support requests, access management, and employee onboarding.

The Series A round was led by Redpoint Ventures. Other investors include First Round and General Catalyst.

This new investment brings Serval's total funding to $52 million.
