InCountry Secures $10M for AI Data Protection, Launches AgentCloak

InCountry, a provider of data protection products, announced it secured $10 million in funding. Arbor Ventures led the round, with participation from Caffeinated Ventures and Accelerator Ventures. This capital accelerates global deployment of AgentCloak, its new AI agent data protection solution.

AgentCloak generalizes sensitive data for privacy and compliance. It detects and cloaks names, addresses, and account numbers, transforming specific details into broader categories. For instance, it changes "Berlin" to "EU" and an age like "32" to the "30-39" bracket.

The solution employs Sovereign AIs, trained on local vernacular, to identify sensitive data including medical terms. It leverages InCountry’s proven digital twin technology to secure and cloak information. Furthermore, AgentCloak enables AI agents to operate seamlessly across borders.

AgentCloak adheres to stringent regulatory compliance standards, including the EU AI Act and China’s PIPL. This technology integrates with agentic workflows as an MCP Server, Proxy, or A2A Proxy. It also helps train agents using cloaked digital twins.
