GitLaw has raised $3 million to launch its AI legal agent for businesses. The pre-seed funding round was led by Jackson Square Ventures.
Many small businesses lack in-house legal support. Outsourcing contract work can cost a startup more than $20,000 per year. GitLaw's platform uses AI to help companies draft, review, and manage legal agreements. It provides a library of more than 1,000 lawyer-reviewed templates for contracts and terms. The company aims to automate 80 to 90 percent of this routine legal work. This reduces costs while maintaining high accuracy. Unlike generic AI, GitLaw uses a structured approach with multiple AI models. This method is designed to mirror how lawyers work to ensure legal precision.
The new funding will support the product launch and platform expansion across the US and UK.
