Founded in 2020 by Roy Mor and Yonti Levin, Loora is a Generative AI-driven English learning platform designed to make fluency attainable and accessible. With its AI model, users can practice English conversation with a virtual native speaker, receiving instant feedback on their grammar, pronunciation, and accent. Affordable and available 24/7, Loora enables users to improve their language skills at their convenience, opening up new opportunities for professional and personal growth
The startup's Generative AI tutor mimics a native English speaker's conversation, allowing learners to interact in real-time on any topic, while receiving instant feedback. The affordable cost makes it a viable solution for over one billion English learners worldwide.
Loora, available via subscription, already boasts thousands of subscribers across the US, Europe, Asia, and Latin America. The funding will accelerate the development of Loora's Generative AI, product enhancement, team expansion, and increased marketing initiatives. The app, currently available on the App Store, plans to expand to Android in 2023.
