Dublin\'s Tipple Raises €4M Seed for Alcohol Supply Chain

Dublin-based startup Tipple has raised €4 million in Seed funding. Quadri Ventures led this Tipple funding round, with participation from Form Ventures and 7percent Ventures. This investment aims to modernize the global alcohol trade.

Tipple addresses the outdated systems prevalent in the €1.3 trillion alcohol industry. Initially, the sector relies on emails, spreadsheets, and phone calls. Consequently, this leads to significant inefficiencies across the supply chain.

Modernizing Global Alcohol Distribution

Founded in 2022, Tipple develops digital infrastructure for the drinks industry. Its platform streamlines operations for procurement, logistics, and payments. The company serves global brands, alcohol distributors, and local bars. Furthermore, it aims to power one in five transactions within this fragmented market.

The alcohol market spans over 190 countries, yet it struggles with manual processes and opaque data. Tipple's platform introduces transparency and efficiency to all stakeholders. This approach contrasts with traditional methods, which burden suppliers and retailers. Other platforms like DrinkFlow and BarConnect also aim to improve aspects of this market.

Tipple currently supports over 500 brands. This includes major companies like Diageo and Brown-Forman, alongside disruptive brands such as AU Vodka. The new capital from this Tipple funding will support international expansion. Moreover, it will deepen technical integrations to enhance supply chain logistics.
