Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMD) announced today it has agreed to acquire Taalas, a Toronto-based pioneer in specialized AI inference silicon. The move signals AMD's intent to further differentiate its AI offerings in a rapidly expanding market segment.
