Impeccable, initially an open-source design skill for AI coding agents, provides a shared design vocabulary, project context, and quality checks. It operates directly within codebases, facilitating live iteration. Bakaus likens the current AI landscape to a "false dichotomy" where speed is prioritized over quality.

The traditional design-to-engineering handoff is obsolete. With code evolving rapidly and AI agents generating numerous interface variations daily, static mockups are insufficient.

Designers and engineers are increasingly collaborating directly within live products. Impeccable bridges this gap by enabling agents to "speak design," allowing users to critique and refine layouts, typography, and color in plain language, with changes reflected in real production code.

The Interface Problem

Current human-agent interactions are largely confined to passive chat interfaces. Bakaus argues for richer, more active interfaces akin to video editors or design tools.

These interfaces should allow for real-time critique, comparison, and adjustment. Impeccable's Live Mode offers an early glimpse into this future, enabling users to steer AI output visually and integrate changes back into source code.
