As a Sales Engineer, you're not just supporting sales.

You're helping some of the world's largest enterprises understand what's technically possible with AI. You'll build prototypes, lead technical workshops, and work closely with customers to turn complex requirements into working software that proves real business value.

What You'll Do

In this role, you will:

  • Build prototypes, proof-of-concepts, and custom solutions that demonstrate the value of our platform

  • Configure and adapt Lio's AI platform to customer workflows and enterprise system landscapes

  • Lead technical deep dives, live demos, and workshops with procurement, IT, and architecture teams

  • Partner closely with Sales throughout the entire enterprise sales process as the technical expert

  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to translate recurring customer needs into scalable product capabilities

  • Travel to customer sites for workshops and technical sessions (1–2 times per week)

  • Help shape how enterprise customers adopt AI in complex production environments

Your Profile

You'll thrive in this role if you:

  • Have experience building software. You're comfortable working with APIs, integrations, cloud platforms, or modern development frameworks.

  • Enjoy solving customer problems. You like understanding technical requirements and turning them into working solutions.

  • Take ownership by default. You move quickly, build pragmatically, and care about delivering measurable customer value.

  • Communicate confidently. You're comfortable presenting technical concepts to engineers, IT teams, and senior stakeholders alike.

  • Enjoy working across disciplines. You like collaborating with Sales, Product, Engineering, and customers to make complex projects successful.

  • Are curious about AI and excited about bringing cutting-edge technology into enterprise environments.

What's not required

You don't need experience in procurement software or every technology in our stack.

We're much more interested in strong technical fundamentals, curiosity, ownership, and your ability to solve customer problems than in checking every box on a technology list.
