Incubate Fund is a venture capital specialised in investing in startups in the seed stages. Since the establishment of the Incubate Capital Partners in 1999, we manage the fund worth 44.4 billion($440million) and invested in over 300 startups through our related fund. As Incubate Fund, since the establishment of 1st fund in 2010, we have invested 34 billion($340million) in seed startup, including more than 120 companies through our related fund in the last 5 years making us one of the biggest investors of the seed/early stage startups in Japan. We believe that our performance in the last 20 years is attributed to trust relationship that we built with entrepreneurs and the surrounding community. Our motto is to devote ourselves to support entrepreneuers ambitious challenges. In other words, we devote ourselves to consider the management and the business from the entrepreneuers point of view and aim to become good partners to help entrepreneurs concentrate on their own business even in hardships they may face in expanding the business. We also thoroughly support companies in fundraising as lead investors so that entrepreneurs can focus on their business. The entrepreneurs are the ones that build successful businesses. We, venture capitalists, support entrepreneurs and create businesses together in the background. This is what defines Incubate Funds way of supporting entrepreneurs that we believe is something more than conventional hands-on support. Since 2010, we host Incubate Camp, a seed acceleration program, in order to connect with earlier stage entrepreneurs. Many companies have experienced a rapid growth, which we believe indicates that our program has started to produce results in creating startup businesses. Just like Y Combinators and 500 startups in Silicon Valley, we aim to make Incubate Camp a social infrastructure that accelerate businesses for all the entrepreneurs considering to startup.
