VREY, a Berlin-based climatetech startup, has secured €3.3 million in seed funding led by Rubio Impact Ventures, with participation from High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF) and Kopa Ventures. This funding marks VREY's first external capital raise and will be used to expand its team of approximately 20 employees and further develop its "EnergyOS" platform. The company currently manages a three-digit number of solar projects in multi-family buildings across Germany, simplifying tenant electricity models and enabling property owners to deploy solar without becoming energy suppliers.
