Voodin Blade Technology is a startup focused on addressing the sustainability challenges in the wind energy sector. They have developed a proprietary, fully automated, mold-free manufacturing process for producing wind turbine blades made from Laminated Veneer Lumber (LVL), a sustainable alternative to traditional fiberglass composites. This technology enables localized, flexible, and scalable production of recyclable wind turbine blades, aiming to reduce reliance on overseas manufacturing and accelerate wind energy deployment. The company is a key partner in the Voodin Blade 1st Factory (VB1F) project, which is establishing the first automated, mold-free wind turbine blade factory in Navarre, Spain, with significant EU funding.
