Venture Global LNG, a company focused on exporting U.S. liquefied natural gas, has secured $8.6 billion in project financing for its third project, CP2 LNG. This final investment decision (FID) marks the largest independent project financing in the U.S. banking market, bringing the total committed investment for CP2 to over $19 billion. The company aims to become the largest LNG exporter in the U.S. with the full production of its projects.
