Variational, an on-chain derivatives trading protocol, has secured $50 million in Series A funding, marking its first major institutional round. Led by Dragonfly with participation from Bain Capital Crypto and Coinbase Ventures, this capital injection coincides with the launch of Variational's initial Real-World Asset (RWA) markets. The funds will support the expansion of these RWA offerings, allowing traders to access traditional assets alongside their cryptocurrency portfolios.
