Swedish green-steel startup Stegra has secured €1.4 billion in rescue funding, marking a critical follow-on round to complete construction of its large-scale plant in Boden, Sweden. The consortium, led by the Wallenberg family and including Temasek and IMAS, has taken a leading position in the company. This funding provides Stegra with a fully funded path to commission its plant and ramp up construction, following months of negotiations.
