Lausanne-based DeepTech Sonexos raised approximately €5.4M (CHF 5M / $6.1M) in new equity financing led by Valquest Partners with participation from Robert Bosch Venture Capital GmbH (Bosch Ventures) and industry angels and private investors; Valquest Managing Partner Fadi Noureddine has joined the board. The company, founded in 2022 by Mark Donaldson, said the financing will take its patented Plasmacoustic Metalayer solid-state noise control technology from working prototypes to industrial production and integration into customers' products at scale for domestic appliances, HVAC, industrial, infrastructure and automotive applications. No revenue, client, pipeline or employee count metrics were disclosed; the company cited prototype performance of up to 20 dB of low-frequency noise reduction in ventilation systems and 16 dB in domestic appliances, with absorption from 30 Hz to 1,500 Hz under application-specific test conditions.
