Retro Series A

Retro, a friend-focused photo-sharing app founded by former Instagram engineers, has secured over $21 million in Series A funding, marking its first major institutional round. The company, now valued at over $100 million according to PitchBook, plans to use the funds to expand its features and user base. Retro differentiates itself by focusing on direct friend connections rather than algorithmic feeds and offers in-app subscriptions for premium features instead of advertising.
