Financial risk management platform Pillar has secured a $20 million seed funding round, bringing its total raised to $23 million. The round was led by Andreessen Horowitz, with participation from Crucible Capital, Gallery Ventures, and Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi. Pillar plans to use these funds to further develop its AI-powered platform, which automates hedging processes for commodity-driven businesses by analyzing diverse data sources to manage exposure across commodities, FX, and freight.
