Noxtua closed a follow-on Series C of more than €100M (~$108.0M) following its Series B in 2025, which was at the time the largest Legal AI funding round in Europe. Founded in Berlin in 2017 as a spin-out from Oxford University and Imperial College London and having launched its first version in 2024, the company now reports 30,000+ users, ~100 employees and six locations across Europe — Berlin, Paris, Stockholm, Zagreb, Munich and Freiburg — for its jurisdiction-specific Legal AI Workspaces built on exclusive curated data from publishers including C.H.BECK, MANZ and Helbing Lichtenhahn. The round makes C.H.BECK, which first invested in the Series B, the majority shareholder with a qualified majority and adds MANZ as a new investor while Global Brain Corporation, KDDI Open Innovation Fund, CMS, Dentons and Dominik Schiener exit, as Noxtua shifts toward closer strategic publisher partnerships including tying C.H.BECK's product strategy and its beck-online database of 60M+ documents to the joint Beck-Noxtua Legal AI Workspace.
