Basel-based clinical-stage biotech Nouscom closed an oversubscribed €120 million ($135 million) Series D — a follow-on financing for the company founded in 2015 — to advance its investigational off-the-shelf neoantigen-based cancer immunotherapy.
The company disclosed no revenue, client, or employee count metrics; its lead pipeline asset is NOUS-209, an off-the-shelf immunotherapy for cancer interception targeting Lynch Syndrome, which affects ~2 million carriers with up to 80% lifetime cancer risk, and funds will be used to accelerate NOUS-209's clinical development.
The round was co-led by M Ventures and Revelation Partners with new investors Angelini Ventures, the European Investment Bank (EIB), and Neva SGR (Intesa Sanpaolo Group), alongside existing investors 5AM Ventures, Andera Partners, Bpifrance, CDP Venture Capital, EQT Life Sciences, Indaco Venture Partners, Panakes Partners, Versant Ventures and XGEN Ventures.
