Imperial College London spinout MintNeuro has raised a $5M follow-on round led by Odyssey Ventures with participation from 33East, JSK Investments and Alumni Ventures alongside returning investors Empirical Ventures and Jumpspace Ventures, marking a shift from technology validation to commercial scale-up. The company, which is developing a modular semiconductor platform for neural sensing, signal processing and stimulation, has delivered working silicon and reached integration milestones with partners including Motif Neurotech and Amber Therapeutics, including a multi-year commercial chip supply agreement with Motif for its minimally invasive neurostimulator targeting treatment-resistant depression. The funding will be used to grow its engineering and commercial teams, support more customer programmes and faster product launches, and scale from the UK into global markets including Silicon Valley.
