Mika Games, the gaming investment company founded by Wargaming co-founder Nick Katselapov, has raised $10 million in a funding round led by Flint Capital with participation from several new and existing investors. The firm has expanded its portfolio from three to five studios this year, including Guli Games' Legendale with more than 3 million players and Agonalea Games' Punko with over 500,000 downloads, alongside Bulberry Studio and LevelApp. The funding will be used for product development and larger-scale paid marketing campaigns to help portfolio studios test retention, monetisation and payback periods and expand their user bases.
