LanzaTech Grant · $9M raised · (2023)

LanzaTech utilizes a proprietary bio-fermentation technology to convert industrial waste gases, carbon dioxide, and gasified waste into ethanol. This ethanol serves as a building block for sustainable products such as Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), polyethylene, and other critical chemical derivatives. The company partners with energy-intensive industries to capture and process carbon-rich gases, giving them a second life and contributing to a circular carbon economy.
