Amsterdam-based SportsTech Huppa, founded in 2024 by Sharief Mohamed and Gino Arendsz to build an all-in-one platform for gyms, CrossFit boxes and studios, has raised €1 million (~$1.1M) in its first pre-Seed funding round. The round was led by a group of angel investors including the founders of Dutch tech companies Sentia, Keylane, TicketSwap, Moneybird and Revue, with participation from early-stage VC NL SportTech Ventures. The announcement did not disclose specific traction metrics such as client count, revenue, pipeline or employee numbers; the company said the capital will be used for continued development of its gym management platform and team expansion.
