Fluidstack, an AI data center builder, has secured $830 million in a Series A funding round led by Situational Awareness, an AI-focused fund backed by Stripe's founders. This investment values the company at $7.5 billion and follows its November partnership with Anthropic to build $50 billion worth of AI infrastructure. Fluidstack aims to accelerate data center construction from years to six months by utilizing prefabricated modules and factory-based robotic assembly.
