Firenze, a FinTech specializing in Lombard lending, has secured €6.8 million (£6 million) in an oversubscribed follow-on round led by AlbionVC, with participation from existing investors Outward VC and Form Ventures. This funding, raised one year after their initial Seed round, will be used to double the team size in response to increasing borrower demand and to support partners managing over £200 billion in assets. The company aims to democratize Lombard lending for the mass affluent segment by expanding its platform for custody, capital, and compliance.
