Firefly Technology raised a $20.0M Series A on October 20, 2026 led by Definition Capital, with participation from BoxGroup and Susa Ventures. The round is a follow-on to its seed round led by Susa Ventures earlier this year and marks BoxGroup's third investment in the company. No specific metrics on clients, revenue, pipeline or employee count were disclosed. The company plans to use the funds to build a single AI system spanning security cameras, sensors and radios to automate situational awareness and response, initially focused on workplace safety in venues such as schools and hospitals.
