Datometry developed a database virtualization platform, Hyper-Q, that allows applications to run on modern cloud data warehouses without requiring code rewrites. This technology significantly accelerates and reduces the cost of migrating from legacy systems like Teradata and Oracle to cloud platforms such as Snowflake, Azure SQL Data Warehouse, Amazon Redshift, and Google BigQuery. The company also offered OpenDB, a PostgreSQL-based alternative to Oracle databases.
