Cortea, a Berlin-based startup focused on AI for audit firms, has secured €12 million in its inaugural Seed funding round, led by Dawn Capital with participation from Cherry Ventures and Mosaic Ventures. This capital will support the launch of its Audit Quality Agents, designed to enhance audit quality and capacity by reviewing reports, financial statements, and workpapers. The company was founded in 2024 and developed its agents in collaboration with leading UK and European audit firms.
