Callosum Seed

Callosum is an AI infrastructure startup based in London, UK, founded by brothers James and Liam Coe. The company aims to disrupt the current landscape of AI compute, which they describe as a 'monoculture'. They develop software designed to coordinate AI workloads across various types of chips, including Nvidia, AMD, AWS Trainium/Inferentia, Cerebras, and SambaNova, emphasizing multi-cloud and multi-chip collaboration. Callosum's technology reportedly delivers approximately twice the accuracy, seven times the speed, and a fourfold cost reduction compared to single-hardware solutions for complex enterprise tasks. The company is also collaborating with data center infrastructure vendors on new photonic interconnects and plans to expand into the US market while developing its own hardware infrastructure.
