BreezeBio, formerly GenEdit, is a biotechnology company focused on developing genetic medicines through targeted in vivo delivery. It utilizes its proprietary NanoGalaxy® platform, which consists of non-viral, non-lipid hydrophilic nanoparticles (HNPs). These nanoparticles are engineered to deliver various genetic payloads, including mRNA, siRNA, and gene editors, to specific cell types and tissues, such as immune cells, heart, lung, and central nervous system. The company is advancing an internal therapeutic pipeline with an initial focus on autoimmune diseases and oncology, with its lead candidate, BRZ-101, designed to restore immune tolerance in Type 1 diabetes. BreezeBio also engages in partnered programs to leverage its delivery technology.
