Ares Intelligence, the London-based startup founded in 2026 by Matt Falconer and 21-year-old Alfie Ranstead, has raised its first institutional round — a €2.6M (~$2.8M) Seed led by Creandum and Lakestar with participation from angels connected to Google DeepMind. In approximately seven months since launch it has signed enterprise customers across Europe and the United States, including Mercedes-Benz spin-out Tremonia which uncovered more than 400 hours per month of avoidable manual work within four weeks using its GDPR- and SOC 2-compliant AI interviewer that holds confidential voice conversations in 70+ languages and delivers a prioritized roadmap in weeks. The company plans to use the funding to expand and bring the platform to more businesses.
